The Ruger M77 Mark II, an evolutionary design based on years of experience
and loaded with patented features. One of its most popular features is the
readily accessible three position safety that allows the rifleman to lock
the bolt, or to load or upload, with the safety engaged. A patented
floorplate latch, housed in the trigger guard, securely holds the floor
plate to prevent the accidental dumping of cartridges. With its innovative
one piece bolt, Ruger has eliminated brazing in the bolt construction,
improving the strength and reliability. The diagonal front screw bedding
system pulls the action downward and back for more secure contact with the
stock bedding surfaces. Choice of calibers available.
